The 2005 Regional Competition took place in Hemel Hempstead in May, for clubs headed by chief instructor Mr Sergiew.
Alan, Paul P, and Paul I competed.
Congratulations to Paul P (pictured below in white suit black pads) who took gold in the men's welterweight yellow belt point stop sparring, getting through 3 fights.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Alan (pictured below in white suit black pads) won his first round in the men's black belt point stop sparring, but was out in a close second round.
 
 
 
 
Paul I (pictured below in red foot and hand pads)was out in the first round of the men's blue/red belt point stop sparring.
 
 
Apologies for the low quality of most of the photos, the lighting wasn't so good in the sports centre (they had the equivalent of 40 watt bulbs rather than 100 watt for lighting!). All photos were captured from video footage.
