Northampton South's Paul P gets gold in sparring at the 2007 TAGB English Championships held at Nottingham Arena on Sunday 26th March.
Paul P got the gold in the executive men's welterweight yellow belt point stop sparring. Hamish also competed in the men's black belt patterns, and Paul I was out first round in the men's welterweight blue belt continuous sparring.

This was the first time that the TAGB championships were held at the Nottingham Arena. The arena proved to be very popular, offering excellent 'ringside' seat viewing for some spectators, good flooring and mats for competitors, and plenty of indoor space around the arena for competitors to stretch and warm up.
