The 8th Open Tae Kwon Do World Championships, hosted by the TAGB, took place Saturday 30th June to Sunday 1st July 2007 at the National Indoor Arena, Birmingham, UK. Paul P and Paul I from Northampton South took part in the men's sparring.
Paul P (pictured above wearing a red tag in the last group of photos) entered the men's yellow belt point stop sparring, and lost to a Swiss gentleman in the first round.
Paul I (pictured above wearing a blue tag in the first group of lower quality photos) entered the men's blue belt continuous sparring, and lost to a Polish gentleman in the first round. Paul was unable to continue his fight after sustaining a cut nose.
