The March 2006 issue of Martial Arts Illustrated magazine went on sale on 16th February, and includes a free DVD with highlights of early 'Clash of the Titans' events in the 1980's, including footage of the TAGB team.

The 'Clash of the Titans' is a well established open mixed martial tournament in the UK, and the DVD provides highlights of some of the early tournaments (events 1-7) in the mid to late 1980's. As a mixed martials event, teams entered from many different styles including TAGB Tae Kwon Do, Lau Gar Kung Fu, Freestyle Karate etc. The sparring rules are different to TAGB sparring rules, and additionally allow for sweeps and take downs.
See if you can spot the TAGB team in action in some of the highlights (including Kenny Walton, who is now a senior instructor and the national squad coach in the TAGB).
In 'the early years', the TAGB team took part in Clash of the Titans events 1, 2, 3, and 6. To help you spot the team, in event 1 the team wore blue/red, in event 2 the team wore black, in event 3 the team wore red/white, and in event 6 the team wore white.
